SRILANKA slips PAKISTAN catches it Tight!!

Finally the T20 world cup sensation has been over with the professional performance by the Pakistanis, there would be lot of celebrations in the country.

Afridi the Hero of Pakistan roar once again, he could very well say like “I’m back”, but this time with very professional and responsible way of batting we have seen from him. What a match winning knock. You cannot be unbeaten always there would be somebody to beat you up, this time its Pakistan and Pakistan only, this is the team beat the two unbeaten nations in this T20 world cup, they beat South Africa (the most deserving team by all concerns) at the semis, and Sri Lanka in the Huge Finals, Well done Pakistan, I would rather say Well Done Afridi, and I cannot think somebody else on this time but there are contributions from the team, but afrdi stand still.

Once again Pakistan showed their potential with the ball, their pace men did a fine job at the start of the innings, they aint conceding more than 36 in the first five overs, the rookie bowler Amir bowled sharp bouncers and length balls with pace like and experienced paceman, Abdur Razzaq’s return from the ICL helped a lot for Pakistan This time he done the damage to the oppositions by sending 3 top order Lankan’s batsmans back to the pavilion.

Afridi and Ajmal Continues this damage but Lankan Captain Sankarkara Stood still and make some runs on the board; he played a responsible innings he tried his level best to and take up the decent score.

 Afridi has been fantastic throughout tournament with the ball, and Ajmal has been impressive. Umar Gul the leading wicket taker of the tournament, well bowelled throughout the tournament, he has been improved a lot nowadays; he showed that he can bowl hard Yorkers and sharp bouncers as well.

Dilshan’s First unimpressive performance in the tournament, the well set top run scorer of the tournament selected a poor shot and gives his wicket to the oppositions. Jayasuriya tried something but when go for the big shots got the inside edge and gave his wicket to Razzaq. Sakarkara played throughout the innings and stood still and scored as much as he can, but nobody was there to support him Chamara Silva Tried a bit but he failed still. Mathewes finish of the innings with some shorts.

 If we take Pakistan’s Batting, wow what a plan they executed. Akmal showed his positive approach even for the low scoring match but Shahzaib Hasan tried a bit but he holds the wicket for some time, Pakistan aint lose a wicket in their power play but Lankans did lose 4 in the first six overs, and Afridi came into number three after Akmal departs Man he asked for this position to the captain and took the responsibility in his hand and executed his plan very well, we have seen a new afridi in this game he didn’t go for the big shots till he reach 20 balls, but he didn’t struggle a bit with the Sri Lankan Bowlers, scored comfortably bat till end of the innings and play the winning short with his foot J. Shohaib gave him a excellent company we have seen the excellent co ordination between these batsmans.  

Well They ease the job of other Pakistani bats men, they didn’t get chance.

Pakistan not ready to lose for the second time, this time they catches it tight!!!

The notable thing in this tournament is that the top five wicket takers form these teams only Pakistan got 3 places and Lankans got 2 places,

Umar Gul 13 wickets

Saeed Ajmal 12 wickets

Ajanta Mendis 12 wickets

Lasith Malinga 12 wickets

Shahid Afridi 11 wickets

This tournament shows the unpredictability of the 20-20 games, it had been fun throughout the tournament, I enjoyed the cricket, Well done Pakistan, and lets hope that India will come back next time strongly!!

Finally T20 World Cup Final Has Arrived!!

I have been waiting for this moment, to watch this final match of t20 world cup. There have been of expectations from lot of well established teams, there have been lot of disappointment from some of the teams, there have been lot of surprises from some of the teams and It has been fun and exciting watching this tournament.

As India came out of the tournament, I thought it will not be interesting anymore but the turning points and exciting last over wins and surprises broke my thoughts into pieces.

Finally final has been arrived PAKISTAN and SRILANKA are in the final, the two Asian teams; maybe we could be happy about this. Both teams came across lot of difficult matches and tough teams to play this final match. Especially PAKISTAN we would really appreciate its strong come back after a loss of the first match. They have been doing great so for, the good news for PAKISTAN fans is that Shahid Afridi Got something with this bat, he has been doing fantastic job with the ball throughout the tournament.

If we look at the batting of these two teams there are not much options, because in SRILANKA Dilshan is the only man playing shots and scoring runs, Sankarkara has to do better in this final and we are expecting Jayasuriya to show something special from him. And In PAKISTAN it’s too difficult to point out some one but Akmal is doing well and misbah joined him in a match younis did well in one match afridi done the work at the last semi final but still no two players scoring match have been seen by PAKISTAN. Razaq’s  return may give them some strength in batting.

Bowling no other talking spin doing the magic for the both teams, Mendis and Murali here in SL as the same effect from Afridi and Ajmal in PAK, Malinga leading the Pace department for SL and Umar Gul leading it for PAK. Udana and Mathewes showed some potential as well as Amir the young fast bowler can do the same level tricks as they do.

Both Teams are stronger with the Ball with the bat SL is little ahead, we don’t know what could happen, we have to wait to see cause its 20 over game it’s unpredictable, maybe we could see something special in the final who knows.

India Out Of T20 WorldCup!

WTF! I have never expected India will come out of the tournament, as it is the best side with the combination of strongest batsmen and good bowlers. Why is that happened? what went wrong?

As you see, Every individual player in india is a great quality player, even though the players are good enough to break the heart of any team they have to show their potential so that only the team will win, this what they failed to do it with both England and WestIndies.

Indian Batsmen are forget to do thir job. It is showing that India’s Top order batsmen are failing to do their job at the top, Like Gauti, Rohit and Suresh Raina at the Top and Dhoni too struggling to go for big shots at the middle. We cannot put the pressure on Rohit because he aint the opening batsman, he is a middle order batsman, he was trying to fill sehwag’s place but the place is still empty .

India Need Sehwag to open, Even the whole team aint depending on anybody but still need somebody to fire at the top, who will do that Rohit is trying but not successfull in the last two matches, Gauti I dont know what happened, I think he is lacking confidence may be.

And Dhoni, Poor fellow . I think he needs more practice at the nets ,

The only batsmen tried well here are Yuvraj and Yusuf, They tried well and Vs England India’s Bowling was superb but aint batting.

Dhoni has tried both bat first and chasing both didnt work out for the champions. Lords send out champions to home relieve thm from the trophy.

Whatever India Came out of the tournament, Wil it be interesting. I don’t care I am going to watch all South Africa, Srilanaka, Pakistan and New Zealand’s matches . lol .

We have been watching these T20 worldcup keenly, and expecting that India (the champions) retain their title.

Here we will have a look at individuals in the team,

The Indian squad for the T20 tournament

Gautam Gambhir,  Rohit Sharma,  Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh,  MS Dhoni (capt/wk), Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha

The Above is the probable playing  eleven and people out sidethe playing eleven are,

Diensh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Praveen Kumar and RP Singh

Lets have a look at how the individual are playing,

Gautam Gambhir: Gauti is one the best opener in the world cricket, and he has been prove that he can bat in shorter form of cricket as well as the others, he can hit the ball hard. and he would be the best partner with Sehwag, But with Rohit, WE will have to wait  and see what would happen how well he can play. But when we consider the recent form of gauti is not so good, i think he is desparately in need of sehwags company.

Rohit Sharma: Rohit sharma is an effective middle order batsman, he is the one who proved that he can bat all the three form of cricket. He was payed fantastic inningses for Deccan Chargers, He has been doing lot of hard work to retain in the palying 11, as a opener he is trying his level best to fulfilling the place of Viru, but still he couldn’t do that, We wait and see how well he can do that.

Suresh Raina: What to say about this man, he has been fantastic with the bat, he showed how well he can bat in IPL second version, He is the Best man to fit in this 3rd position for 20-20 matches. He is doing good, lets pray that he will do better.

Yuvraj Singh: One Of the Powerful man of our team, the strong middle order batsman, he came into the team when india desparately need the player of this kind, He can hit big shots . I will say he is the match winner, he can change things.

MS Dhoni: Indian Sensation, Indian Captain for One day team as well as 20-20 team, He can hit big shots, he can score quickly we have seen his batting, but present form of our captain is not so well, he have to look through his batting .  He has to score big totals quickly this is what India lacking.

The Pathan Brothers: Yusuf and Irfan doing well, they are great finishers, Irfan shown some power with the bat still he needs to show his talent with the ball, with the ball his for is poor, Yusuf In the form allrounder , he is showing greats things with both bat and ball, he is one of the biggest strikers in the world Remember that shane warne said “yusuf and Symonds are the two clean hitters i have ever seen”. He is doing just that.

Harbhajan Singh: Bajji is the India’s best spinner now, he is doing great his form is ok , he can change teh match with the ball, he showed some potential with the bat too.

Zaheer Khan: The most experience pace bowlers in the team, he is doing fine but still we need some pace power, he has to bowl some bouncers and hard yorkers to threaten the batsmen.

Ishant Sharma: Ishant is now unpredictable bowlers he is the only man trying to bowl bouncers but still he couldnt  do it, He has to bowl more good lenth deliveries. I dont think any batsman struggling to score Ishant’s.

Pragyan Ojha: Ohja is the Young spinner, doing well, he is on the right path to become the good cricketer. His bowling is ok he has been giving excellent company to Bhajji.

And the others:

Diensh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Praveen Kumar and RP Singh: Dinesh is good with the bat , but he cannnot be in the team unless and otherwise Dhoni is out, it is good to have a extra keeper in the squad, Ravindra jadeja is good, he is a nice all rounder but he needs to be tested , if he gets the chance to be in the 11 he has to show something special to reatin his position, Praveen Kumar, I would rather say replace Praveen with Ishant, Praveen is good with the ball variety bowling makes the batsman thinks and he could hit some strokes too but captain has to make the decision, RP unlucky RP , Irfan is in his Position in the 11, India needs his bat power so RP will be out forthe tournament I think, stay cool in the squad RP, he could have get he chance of taking Ishant’s place.

If we see Indian Team as Whole, This team is definitely deserve to get the trophy, But still we need Fire start Decent middle, WE have great finishers no problem with that,

India Is one of the Powerfull side in this T20 WOrdcup,

Lets hope India Will defend its championship.

I jus started the Blog , What do I write?

Yea I am living in a Cricket Loving Nation, People in India Are having great attitude towards cricket and those players playing that Excellent game.

We don’t like cricket, We love It, We Live It. People celebrate their own religious functions when they arrive, but the whole nation stand as single unit for Two big things, One Is, ”When we say we are Indians”  The other one “When our nation playing cricket”.

We expect a batsman to hit a six in every ball, and bowler to take wicket in every ball, We would keep a player over our head when he is in Form and We would slip him under our slippers  if he fails to continue his form, this is how we people enjoying the game.

Wait , Somebody is saying something , what? Not one lots of people, Ok People, I should be finish of now. You know what I already hearing lots of voices against me (lol).
